We'll see. I've been wondering if the collectables he takes are going to be ones that don't have a collector, or that are only collected by the Chefs at Canthan New Year. If that's true, are there any collectorless drops in Kryta?

And yeah, I stocked up on all mats that were <200g, since I think ANet is probably choosing low-value items in an effort to drain the surplus. I hope it's silk... I'll make bank.

I agree, my guess would be an item that reminds him of someone that died during the searing? Im guessing this since the past 2 items have been reminders of his past.

Personally, I'm just counting on him always being near a portal between two explorable areas. That would rule out Galrath's castle. If you think he'll be in Kryta, just check all the portals between zones and you're likely to find him.

About 15k.

Given one minute is worth about 100g, one aged ale is three minutes, so is therefore 300g. 50 uses in a Keg means 50 × 300g = 15,000g (or 15 platinum).

Everyone is hoping that he's collecting something they can buy out and resell at higher prices. Well, that's the cynical view anyways. I'm sure plenty more are just interested in finding out as soon as he changes ^^

I really hope it's totally random what he requests. Seeing him ask for Sapphires, Rubies, or Ecto would be pretty hilarious.
